About Me
I'm David Albán-Acuńa (formerly Albán Hidalgo).
I'm a full-stack software engineer and computer science educator, and a continuous learner.
Formally, I studied Symbolic Systems (a.k.a Cognitive Science) and Latin American Studies, but I'm also currently studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
I've worked in a variety of roles, from advising the Mayor of a top 10 city and helping lead new tech policy programs, to teaching at top-ranked independent schools across the country, and I'm always looking for new ways to learn and grow!
In my spare time, I love to create: rhythms on a cajón; short, nostalgic poems, and above all, caring and loving relationships, especially with my wife and family.
